For new clients we recommend that you join the Foundation Reformer Class, this class is designed to go over the fundamentals of Pilates and familiarise yourself with the equipment.  If you are unable to make this class a Gentle Reformer is a good alternative.  If you are working through injury then a 1:1 would be strongly advised.


How to prep

  1. Arrive at the studio at least 15 minutes before your first class
  2. Wear comfortable clothing with no sharp tags or buttons on the back as this may damage the equipment.
  3. Grippy socks are advisable, you can purchase these at the studio, or wear your own socks but we may ask you to remove them so you don't slip on the equipment.
  4. Bring a water bottle, although we do have this available at the studio.
  5. Complete the pre exercise questionnaire (PARQ) and then discuss anything that may impact your workout; injuries, medical conditions and current exercise.
  6. Lastly, have fun.
